  • Kicking off the night at one of the city’s great pubs.

The Best Liverpool attractions

The Beatles Story

This interactive walk-through adventure through Liverpool’s most famous area is not to be missed by fans and non-fans alike.

The award-winning Fab Four tribute isn’t only for fans. Not only will you learn everything about the band, but you’ll also get a taste of the swinging ’60s, with recreations of The Casbah, Mathew Street, and The Cavern, as well as special memorabilia and interactive sections. If you want to buy a keepsake, there’s also the world’s largest range of official Beatles stuff.

Tate Liverpool

Presenting the northern location of Britain’s well-known Tate galleries. Tate Liverpool, formerly a warehouse, is now one of the most stunning art galleries in the United Kingdom.

Visit Albert Dock to witness how James Stirling transformed the ancient structure into a modern monster that makes architectural virtue of the structure’s original elements. Recent exhibits include a famous Keith Haring show and the outstanding survey ‘Lucian Freud: Real Lives,’ which is on display until January 2022. While you’re there, check out the Louise Bourgeois show, which is also on display until January 2022.

One of the most popular Liverpool attractions: Anfield

Ah, the heart of Liverpool, or as others call it, the home of Liverpool Football Club…

Anfield has been home to the Reds since 1892, but other sporting figures have also graced its hallowed grass. Since the ground’s inception in 1884, it has hosted boxing, tennis, and rugby matches. A stadium tour will teach you all you need to know about the club’s history and give you access to the changing rooms, the tunnel (complete with the renowned sign), and the pitch itself.

Mersey Ferry

It’s probably worth a ride if Gerry And The Pacemakers believed it was worth singing about.! At the very least, you’ll get excellent views of the city. Choose between a basic hop-on-hop-off cruise and a combo ticket. The ticket includes admission to additional Liverpool attractions such as the family-friendly interactive Spaceport exhibit and the U-Boat Story. There, you can browse a real German submarine. To mark the centenary of the First World War Armistice, pop artist Sir Peter Blake ‘dazzle painted’ one of the riverboats in 2018.
